The hitch’s concealed cross tube installs behind the bumper so only the 2" receiver shows underneath. It keeps a clean, from-the-factory look without hanging metal showing below the fascia. You get towing capability without changing the vehicle’s style or losing ground clearance.
With a 3,500-lb maximum gross trailer weight and 525-lb tongue weight rating, this Class III hitch has the strength for small trailers, campers, or cargo carriers. The 2" x 2" receiver fits most bike racks and accessories without adapters, so you can use your existing gear for daily hauling or weekend trips.
This hitch is built for DIY installs using basic tools. It bolts directly to the frame with no drilling or welding required. The mounting points line up cleanly for easy alignment, making it possible to complete installation right in your driveway.
The aluminum and steel alloy combines strength with lighter weight and is made from recycled materials. A black powder coat resists rust and road wear, keeping the hitch looking good over time. The design meets SAE J684 towing safety regulations for dependable performance on the road.

The receiver is built solidly. Etrailer needs to step up with how they pack their receivers. A big box with an oddly shaped piece of metal just flopping around with no packing. My order arrived with giant holes on the box and paint missing from the corners and edges of the receiver. It also had paint missing all along the cross member that did not contact the box. I ended up painting the bare metal to prevent premature rust. No point in trying to have Etrailer “fix” it. What they need to fix is their packing process.
It fit perfectly! Had a bit of a problem understanding one step of the instructions, but one of your tech guys gave me great help via phone call.
Nice fit under bumper. It's only you can see is receiver. Great product
Hitch is perfect, looks great.....very stealthy to the eye as you only see the receiver. Customer service is spot on and proactive.
Overall this is a good looking and high quality tow hitch. I only give it 4 stars for reason with installation difficulty. The tow hitch is strong and heavy. I was able to install it myself it took me 3 solid hours because I made mistakes and had to redo some of the steps and had difficulty with fitting it onto the van. The side arms of the hitch came crooked it bends inward and not squared looking. After I struggled trying to fit it on my van and failed for a while I almost gave up and wanted to return it but I was hesitant bc it’s too heavy to ship. I took a rubber mallet and bang it out so it finally fit. It was a relieved after all.
I didn’t Jack up the van I am small enough to get under. I used Jack standards to hold it up while I screwed in the bolts. I made mistakes of using only 1 washers the instructions says use 1 flat and 1 lock washer. My bad for not reading the instructions carefully. I wish the instructions came with pictures (I am not a good reader).
The exhaust tail was easy to lower only after I sprayed w-40. So make sure you have it on hand. The instruction says so as well. I watched a [online] video they failed to lower it and installed it as is. This was third party [online videos]. I am more than satisfied after the installation is complete. It is a good quality hitch.
Wasn’t easy as a beginner but finally done. Definitely you need 2 adults for proper and easy install.
Looks great on my 2017 Toyota Sienna. Only the receiver can be seen and it is tucked immediately under the bumper for a custom look. This hitch can be installed without removing the bumper. See the installation video for the compatible Class 3 etrailer hitch at 8:25 of the video to see the trick of bending down two tabs which allows the hitch to be installed without removing the bumper. A friend helped hold the hitch it in place while the first bolt was installed on each side. Otherwise one person can do all of the other work without a helper.
Just installed my new hitch. Went relatively smoothly. A few additional hints... it is best to scrape away the "foam-like insulation" or overspray around the outside of the trunk to ensure you can fit the hitch into place. Also be careful not to hit/bend any of the protruding pins (that hold the plastic undermount) with the horizontal bar of the hitch. You also may need to trim a bit of the plastic undermount on the side without the exhaust for a proper final fit. You also need a second set of hands to complete the job. And one final hint, you do not need to completely remove the plastic undermount....leave the pins/clips closest to the front of the van (sienna 2011) in place and let the panel hang down.

Unfortunately, the hitch you chose is only a fit for the 2011-2020 Sienna. I'll get that return set up for you. I'd recommend the # C22UR which is a confirmed fit for the 2021 Toyota Sienna.
